Cardtrend UK is delighted to announce its selection for the FinTech Accelerator program, run by the Warwick Innovation District, a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. This exciting opportunity supports our mission to develop the Pocket of Strength mobile app, a concept designed to help people with learning disabilities travel independently on public transport. The idea envisions an AI-powered travel companion, an integrated payment wallet and a rewards system that celebrates each completed journey; empowering users to build confidence, gain independence and support public sector partners in delivering truly inclusive mobility solutions.
Through the accelerator, Cardtrend UK plans to further explore the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the platform, enhancing its capabilities and delivering an even more personalized user experience. We also aim to collaborate with students from the University of Warwick, whose technical knowledge and innovative ideas will be invaluable in shaping the future of the app. The program also provides a unique opportunity to learn from industry-leading mentors and connect with peers in the deep tech and FinTech sectors, strengthening our network and accelerating the growth of our technology.
By joining this prestigious accelerator, Cardtrend UK is taking a significant step forward in inclusive financial technology innovation, AI adoption and collaborative development with both academic and industry partners.
