Cardtrend International has three primary lines of business. These are
integrated and complementary - success in one business lays the groundwork for
further development and more rapid implementation in the others.
Card Business - Issuance and Acquiring of payment
and loyalty-reward cards. We form joint venture companies in Asian countries to
issue payment and/or loyalty-reward cards to consumers and corporations. The
joint venture companies issue MasterCard, Visa as well as proprietary branded
payment cards and loyalty-reward cards. The joint venture companies use cards
systems developed and maintained by Cardtrend International which also provides
management and technical services to such companies.
Prepaid Business - Distribution and sales of
prepaid products and services. We distribute prepaid products/services (third
parties and our own) such as mobile phone airtime, Internet airtime, long
distance discounted call airtime, entertainment and transportation tickets,
gift cards, etc, through our network of retail establishments ("Etop Dealers")
and wholesalers. We form joint venture companies in Asian countries. The joint
venture companies use prepaid administration systems developed and maintained
by Cardtrend International which also provides management and technical
services to such companies.
Processing Business - Provision of business
processes out-sourcing and electronic data processing services and solutions
for operators of payment and loyalty-reward cards, on an in-sourced,
out-sourced or licensing basis. Our clients are financial institutions and
major retail corporations. The fees are charged to clients based on
transactions, or sharing of clients' revenues or one-time licensing fee plus
annual maintenance fees.
